ABOUT LISA

My career has been dedicated to mission-driven organizations.

I have a strong belief that social impact and financial returns are not at odds with one another but can be co-created with mutual benefit.

I have spent the last 30 years helping individuals, teams and organizations increase value for customers, shareholders, and communities.

I am the founder and principal at Danzig, Coach & Consultancy, an executive coaching and organizational consulting practice that helps individuals and organizations unlock possibilities, craft intention and tackle goals. I help my clients gain a deeper understanding of what is important to them, define their vision and provide practical advice to deliver impact.

FROM THE WHITE
HOUSE TO WALMART

My work as a coach has been informed by my experience as an executive at Walmart and a leader at the White House, city and federal government as well as building non-profits and consulting.  While serving in the White House, I was the Chief Performance Officer responsible for setting the Obama Administration’s agenda to improve government performance and talent strategies for the 2 million civilian workforce.

As the Chief of Staff to the SVP of Global Talent at Walmart, I managed strategy and operations to deliver recruiting, recruitment marketing, workforce strategy, and talent expertise services globally.

AT HOME

I have two young kids (10 and 8 years old), a Golden Retriever puppy, a Siamese cat and a professor husband.  We usually live in Washington DC (on the same block I grew up on, 4 houses down from my parents!) and are currently living in Hanover, NH (on a dirt road with a well!) for a sabbatical year through spring 2025.

I am a Co-Active Coach Training graduate and am in the process of becoming a Co-Active Professional Coach (CPCC), with the International Coaching Federation (expected Spring 2025).

I earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Carleton College in international studies.
